ADVENTURES WITH ELEPHANTS

You will discover so much more about elephant in this unique hands-on manner whilst witnessing the elephant's intelligence, compassionate nature and sheer delight in interacting with their human companions. Should you then wish to enjoy the bliss of the wild from an elephant's view point you may choose to silently traverse the African bushveld atop an elephant in search of wildlife on the Elephant-back Safari, you may also choose to Swim with the elephants or even try a Starlight Safari.

UKUTULA CONSERVATION CENTER

- Bush Walk with the Lions -

 

Known as the “place of quiet” the lodge is nestled in lush bush veld where the roar of the lion can be heard for miles around. Ukutula is conveniently situated within an hour’s drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The reserve comprises 260 hectares of unspoiled bush veld boasting a variety of wildlife species, including predator and antelope species, giraffe, zebra and more. Ukutula is also home to more than 130 different bird species.

Marakele Animal Sanctuary is situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa near Thabazimbi. We have a wide variety of predators and small animals. A unique lion mobile is available for a up close and personal experience with our lions.

PILANESBERG PHOTO SAFARI

Set in the crater of a long extinct volcano, the park ranks among the largest of the parks in South Africa. This well-stocked park has a dramatic landscape that supports a wide variety of plants, animals and birds. Pilanesberg accommodates virtually every mammal of southern Africa and is also home to the Big Five. An abundance of wild life proliferate in some 580km² of diverse and arresting bushveld terrain. Activities include game drives or wildlife safaris, either self-driven or guided, game walks and birding. Pilanesberg also operates hot-air balloon safaris over the park.

MARAKELE PHOTO SAFARI

The Marakele National Park is characterised by contrasting majestic mountain landscapes, grass-clad hills and deep valleys. Rare finds of yellowwood and cedar trees, five metre high cycads and tree ferns, are some of the plant species found here. All the large game species from elephant and rhino to the big cats as well as an amazing variety of birds including the largest colony of endangered Cape Vultures (more than 800 breeding pairs) in the world, have settled here.

 

Marakele is home to most of the large mammals synonymous with the African bush, including elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard and cheetah. Lion and spotted hyena are the only large predators found in the Marakele park.

Kruger Park is South Africa's most exciting African safari destination. Steeped in legend and history, the iconic Kruger National Park in South Africa is waiting for you to explore its vast landscapes and spectacular African wildlife.

VICTORIA FALLS

Victoria Falls is a town in western Zimbabwe and a gateway to the massive waterfall of the same name. Here, the Zambezi River plummets over a cliff and into the Boiling Pot before flowing through a series of gorges.

 

The Devil’s Pool, a natural infinity pool, is on the edge of a sheer drop. Spanning the river is 1905 Victoria Falls Bridge. The surrounding Zambezi National Park is home to white rhinos and elephants.

THE CITY OF CAPE TOWN

Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. Slowly rotating cable cars climb to the mountain’s flat top, from which there are sweeping views of the city, the busy harbor and boats heading for Robben Island, the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, which is now a living museum.
